We're so excited to start the countdown to the 14th Annual JHC Polar Plunge - to benefit the Cancer Center at BID-Plymouth!
The money raised this year will pay for the purchase of two new vein finders; will help to underwrite continuing education programs for nursing and other Cancer Center staff; and will provide funds for the Patients' Assistance Fund.
The Patients' Assistance Fund is designed to meet any special or unexpected financial needs of the patient not met by insurance - perhaps transportation, childcare, prescriptions, even home heating. The goal is to remove practical pressures to allow the patient to focus on their therapy and healing.
Looking forward to seeing all my wacky, wonderful Plunge friends at Nelson's Park on March 5 for the 14th annual Polar Plunge.
In the meantime, please stay safe and warm, and all the best,
